This year Bible League is launching a new and exciting initiative called Struggle4Bibles. Have you ever imagined what it would be like to walk in the shoes of a Church Planter carrying a backpack loaded with Bibles along rough walking paths through remote and rugged terrain just to provide the Word of God to those who desperately need it? Now you can experience what it would be like through Struggle4Bibles!
Just as these amazing men and women of God carry on their backs the Word of God into remote parts of Africa, so you will carry a weighted pack as part of the Struggle4Bibles challenge. As they overcome difficult terrain to provide these Bibles, so you too will provide a Bible to a needy African Christian, for every $5 you raise in sponsorship as you overcome obstacles on the 5km, 7km, 10km, 12km or 14Km course.
WHEN: 9am, Saturday 18th May
WHERE: Wedderburn Christian Campsite
Free BBQ lunch from 11:30am, drinks provided
Camp activities available from 2:30pm until 4:30pm
Struggle4Bibles will be a great experience, but it is more than just a physical challenge. You will also be helping to break the Bible Famine across Africa.
Why AFRICA?
- Population of 1.5 Billion people by 2030
- Many nominal believers
- Great need for Bibles in heart language of the people
- Just $5 will provide a Bible and Scripture resources
Bible League International serves the local church and other partners around the world by providing Bibles and Scripture materials for them to use in their ministry of helping people meet Jesus Christ.
