Varying the content to create four different Digital Bible Libraries means people can readily engage with God’s Word no matter what their level of faith – whether new believers, Bible College students or church leaders.

Initially, there were only 3 language versions available – Farsi (Persian), Arabic and Chinese. However, your generous support will allow a further 10 language groups to have Digital Bible Libraries by mid this year, with a total of up to 20 language groups available within the next 2 years.

Each Digital Bible Library is designed to ensure maximum portability and capacity for duplication and can be shared with others on laptop computers, smart phones, tablets and MP3 players. Although the information is launched using a browser, when the library’s storage device is removed, it leaves no trace on the equipment it uses, offering those in persecuted areas better security.

Walking for Bibles

Hey There Everyone,

Well, what a week! I thank God that my times of walking were in place because I needed that release, just that downtime of switching off, of just "walking". The time of walking in the afternoon's is different to when I spend my time with God before I go to work of a morning. I find in the morning's I'm more Praising God for what he has done and  praying  that as He continues His work in me that He would use me as is His will, I cover my son and I with the Blood of JESUS and Praise HIM that HIS blessings are new each and every day,(this is something I CHOOSE to do, others may not..It is all good, to each their own, in regards to their level of faith and personal growth in this wonderful journey with Christ.)

Then in my walks in the afternoon, I will have already seen HIS work at play that He has delivered me safely home from riding my postie bike that HIS spirit in me has prompted me to pray for others at work or while delivering the mail, It is AWESOME and I am so grateful. It's all about choices.

Friday was another Holiday for us here in Chinchilla as it was Showday, and yes it did rain and rain  but we are pretty tough out here in the country, muddy puddles and all. HAHAHA. 

I feel very confident that when my fundraiser does end, that I will continue to walk for fitness. If my little dog has anything to say about it there will be no doubt whatsoever....she has been one of my best supporters, as soon as I come home in the afternoons she starts whimpering and shaking all over with excitement, I always have to tell her not yet I'm having my lunch first, then we will go. Of course this will not be the last Blog, I will contact you again on my final day.  Bless you all.

I can't believe that it's been 3 weeks and 1 day since I started this challenge,but Hey who's counting? hahaha.  The weather here in Chinchilla has been just wonderful, we were spoilt again on Monday with another public holiday so all the family shared the commitment we made with God and with You and we walked, and walked and walked and talked and

Teeana the dog gave the occasional bark to other canines in the area.  I love that it has become a real way of spending extra quality time with my son, whether he walks the last 15 minutes from school with me or the hour, he tends to talk even more and that is such a blessing .

I had to laugh at myself the other day, as I followed  one of my routes that usually takes me just over a hour to my front door, when I checked the time coming up past the hospital I found that I would be about 7 mins early( it was exciting to think that I was getting a bit faster Praise God), so I decided to do another couple of laps around my street, upon reaching the corner the neighbours up the end waved to me, I waved back and then headed down past my house and up and around again only to go past their house again, perhaps they thought I had dementia and was lost!!! HAHAHAHA I am really enjoying this challenge and I CHOOSE everyday to walk with My GOD to be inspired to walk for bibles and to claim Health in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Riding for Bibles

Last weekend my wife Cheryl and I had the pleasure of joining two other couples on a motorcycle ride from Sydney to Bendemeer and return, to raise money for much needed Chinese study Bibles, being specifically published for pastor and teaching elders in mainland China.


Departing Kurmond at the foot of the Blue Mountains, we rode via Bulga, Jerry Plains, Muswellbrook, Nundle and Kootingal  to Bendemeer in the Northern tablelands, where we spent the night. The weather was glorious and apart from bumps along some C grade roads, the ride could not have been more enjoyable. I must admit although, that after 520 kms in the saddle, we were all hanging out for a shower, a good meal and a sound night's sleep.


On Sunday, when the temperature was only 3 degrees centigrade, we departed Bendemeer for our long ride home. Our first stop was Walcha, where we had breakfast and a hot coffee. Nothing like a chilly morning and a strong coffee to wake you up. From there we travelled to Gloucester, Raymond Terrace and the F3 back to Sydney. Again, the day was one of the best autumn days I have seen in many years. The scenery was magnificent (you see much more riding a motor cycle) and the journey uneventful (praise God).


When my arthritic hands and back ached, I simply reminded myself of those 500,000 pastors and teaching elders in China who lack basic Bible resources.


To all those who generously sponsored our group on the ride, I say thank you. Your gift will make a tremendous difference in the lives of those Chinese pastors and teaching elders who do their best to lead their congregations with very little training and inadequate resources.


For those of you who are wanting to know what bikes we rode, there was a Yamaha FJR 1300 sports tourer, a Honda Goldwing 1800 and a Suzuki 650 V-Strom - very different bikes, but all well equipped for the task at hand.

Hello to All the wonderful people at Bible League,

Teena Jones checking in here for the first BLOG. Well everything is going very well, You know I started officially on the 18th of April after a couple of weeks of training, Praise God that the Wonderful Manager/owner of Chinchilla Network Video, Shoes and Fashion donated my incredibly comfortable Trim, Shape and Tone walking shoes. It is a joy to put them on, psychologically there is no setback to doing my walk every day, GOD truly gives me the energy and the commitment to do this, I know I could of just signed up for a one day walk however I wanted the added inspiration of continuing this fitness level after the fundraising event.

I have always liked that old NIKE saying of "Just Do It" and it is an attitude I do try to emulate. Basically I finish work, come home have my lunch, get changed, put my shoes on, grab my earphones; usually I listen to Vision 87.6 FM for a while, my own praise music and then just turn it all off and just rest in GOD's grace.   

Sometimes I incorporate my walk to pick up my child from school and he will walk the last fifteen minutes with me, Tallan is 7 and he enjoys this also. We celebrated the ANZAC day holiday on Wednesday this week so Tallan and our dog Teeana and I walked along Charlies Creek and around Chinchilla on a different route that I would usually take and we had a ball.  I am seeing things happening in town that I had no idea about so it's pretty exciting, it rained Friday but I took the umbrella (I mean come on... I'm a postie...I'm tough hahahaha) as I was walking up the street I recognised one of my work colleagues driving,we waved, he stopped and asked if I wanted a lift (it felt so good to turn him down and explain it was for my fundraiser). Well I think I better stop now or you'll end up with a book, hahaha Many blessings to you all until next time.
