We serve the local church and other partners around the world by providing Bibles and Scripture materials for them to use in their ministry of helping people meet Jesus Christ.

Dalby Christian College On the Run
RUN4BIBLES is a Bible League program designed especially for school students. It’s a fun, outdoor event where students take part in a fundraising event that coincides with the school’s cross country or fun run. The students are encouraged to get sponsored by their friends and family to run in the cross country and all funds raised will go towards placing Bibles and Bible studies in South African Public Schools. Bible League is seeking to raise funds to expand this public schools program across South Africa.
A BIG thank you to Dalby Christian College for participating in R4B program for the last 3 years.
Lynda Wanka, the school chaplain at Dalby Christian College explained that, "approximately 150 students participated in the run at Dalby Christian College this year. Students ran between 2 - 6 km depending on age (Prep to year 12). The cross country was run in and around the school (we have some paddocks and tracks at the back of the school), with students finishing on the school oval.
Judson house (Blue team) won the overall competition. Students were awarded points for competing. Lots of students chose to compete this year, and I think the Run4Bibles gave them extra incentive."
Lynda has been an amazing coordinator with running the program, distributing and collecting sponsorship forms, collecting money and being Bible League's contact person throughout the planning process. After this year’s Run4bibles Lynda said ‘I was pretty excited at the amount raised ($2,471.35) and the impact that can be made through those Bibles.'

Our Fantastic Vollies
We here at Bible League are blessed by the wonderful support of our volunteers. As with any charity we would not be as effective in our ministry if it wasn't for these dedicated people who are willing to spend time assisting in whatever capacity they are able.
Today we had approx 25 volunteers come onsite to insert our latest Planting God's Word Magazine into envelopes to be mailed to our supporters this week. These diligent workers come from around 9am until 11.30am and stuff approximately 10,000 envelopes. Great job well done.
This team of volunteers or vollies as we affectionately call them, come approximately every two months to do either the appeal or magazine. The vollies come from various churches: St Mary's Reformed Church, Blacktown Reformed Church, St Albans Anglican MultiCultural Rooty Hill Church and Blaxland Anglican Church.
There are many ways to support Bible League as a volunteer from any state, to find out more please contact us on 1800 800 937, or office 02 4731 3799.

Hillsong Conference ends on a high
Praise God for the time at Hillsong Conference which was
like a league of nations. Our team met many wonderful people from:
China, Canada, Fiji, Guatemala, Indonesia, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Papua New
Guinea, Philippines, Scotland, South Africa, Singapore, Spain, Tonga, United
States, and of course many of our dear Kiwi friends from across the
Tasman. We are currently looking at ministry opportunities with some of
the people we met, placing Bibles door to door in suburbs, within rugby teams,
children’s ministries, to name just a few.
On Friday we had the wonderful opportunity of doing some
filming with Darren McMahon from Your Dream http://www.yourdream.org.au/ .
Dazza does a great job of working amongst students in schools helping
them realise that they can live their dreams. Bible League is
working alongside Your Dream to provide Bibles for those students seeking to
know God more. To view YouTube clip: Darren McMahon on Bible League International
From the daily draw of the Children’s NT Bible (ERV) we have
five very happy families blessed with this colourful edition for their children. Thank you to all those who participated in the daily
draw. For those interested in this version we are hoping to have a
shipment later in the year. Please check our resource page for when
the ERV Children’s Bible will be available. http://www.bibleleague.com.au/store-resources/online-store/
May God continue to bless you as you walk with Him and we look forward to meeting you
either again, or for the first time at Hillsong in 2013.

Event Week at Hillsong Conference
Hi everyone, what a great week Bible League Australia is
having at the Hillsong Conference. It is encouraging to meet current
supporters and talk about the work that they are partnering with us to
accomplish in ending the Bible Famine.
Read more about our work on our website www.bibleleague.com.au
Also encouraging are the discussions with people who are
unaware of Bible League and our ministry to provide Bibles and Scripture
materials to churches and our partners for their ministry. Many people
were inspired by the Digital Bible Library, an SD card for our brothers and
sisters in persecuted nations.
The BLI team have been busy last week preparing resources
for the conference and this week making themselves available to attend our
stand in the Because We Can marquee. We have been blessed by the response
of our team to carrying on office work and picking up other staff’s tasks.
Amanda and Hamilton had an opportunity today to go on United
Christian Broadcasters (Vision Radio) to share about BLI’s ministry.
At the stand we have a daily draw for a Children’s New
Testament ERV (Easy to Read) Bible, – winners have appreciated the
blessing of this new Bible for family and friends.
Praise God for the wonderful opportunity to share our
ministry at a Christian event and meet so many fellow workers in God’s
Kingdom. Hillsong has once again provided an amazing event with top
speakers and singing throughout the conference time.
