Struggle4Bibles Impressions

On Saturday, Bible League's Struggle4Bibles event was held at Wedderburn Christian Campsite, Sydney.  The day saw many enthusiastic 'strugglers', of all ages, shapes and sizes, who completed the 5 or 7km track - some even did 20kms carrying either a 6kg or 10kg backpack representing Bibles that a Church Planter would carry into remote regions.

The event was enjoyed by many and the experience has made a lasting impression on those who carried weighted backpacks experiencing what it would be like to be a Church Planter carrying Bibles into remote areas of Africa.

David wrote regarding his experience at Struggle4Bibles: "Thank you for challenging us to help build up our fellow BaSiCs (brothers and sisters in Christ) in Africa! There's a Bible chapter that talks about us all being one body of Christ - and we must do our part to make it function properly…. I saw this in effect yesterday and it strongly encourages me to see so many people (less mobile, young children) working together out of love."

“Then the king will answer, ‘The truth is, anything you did for any of my people here, you also did for me.’ Matthew 25:40 (ERV)

Thank you to all those who participated - you are amazing!  Also we would like to thank all those who sponsored participants - your generosity will have an eternal impact on those who will receive the gift of a Bible.

Bible League International Australia aims to hold the event again next year to let more people experience what it is like to take Bibles into remote regions and experience what some of our brothers and sisters around the world do to get God's precious Word to His people.
