Ponder Moment

Your words will be used to judge you. What you have said will show whether you are right or whether you are guilty. Matthew 12:37 (ERV)

Many people don’t recognise the power of words, not realising that it is by our words that our world is formed.  By them relationships are formed or lost; through them we get the job or we don’t; on them our reputation is either built or destroyed; in them people will either place their trust or not: everything we are today is a sum total of the words that we have spoken before.  This is what Jesus meant when he said that words show whether we are right or guilty – in fact, it is even through our words that we repent and are saved!

Here at Bible League, we understand the power of words and so are committed to planting the most powerful Word around the world in order that people may hear; and by hearing, they may believe in the only Word that can save them from whatever situation they find themselves in.

Be conscious of the words that you speak today, realising that through them you have the power to effective the lives around you.  Speak, and allow the light of Christ to shine through you.
